Senior Product Manager, Data and AI

Design, Engineering, and Product 

Overview  
The Data and AI Product Manager will be responsible for developing and managing data-driven products to drive business and revenue goals.  This role requires a blend of product management skills, data analytics, and AI knowledge. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data and a drive to create innovative and impactful solutions.  

Key Responsibilities  
  • Develop and own the long-term vision and roadmap for data and AI products 
  • Own multiple product initiatives and lead development teams through product vision, roadmap execution, delivery, and product marketing 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data scientists, engineers, product, and business leaders) to prioritize and manage product backlogs 
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data and AI technologies to continuously innovate and enhance product offerings with a healthy innovation pipeline 
  • Advocate the data mesh strategy throughout Blackbaud, identifying areas for data product creation, consolidation, and retirement to provide a delightful and consistent experience for customers across product pillars 
  • Champion data governance and data quality, ensuring Blackbaud delivers high-quality products while meeting all governance and privacy requirements  

Qualifications 
  • 4+ years of experience in product management, data analytics, or a related role 
  • Strong understanding of data and AI technologies and their application in business contexts 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams 
  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and execute methodically 
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies 
  • Passion for innovation and a keen interest in the evolving landscape of data and AI 
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative with little oversight 

Preferred Qualifications  
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) 
  • Experience with data platforms and data pipelines 
  • Experience with Raisers Edge
