About the Role
We're seeking a Senior Product Manager I - Drug Information to shape the next generation of integrated drug information decision support solutions. This role is responsible for full-stack product management of innovative drug content delivery and decision support features that improve clinical decisions, efficiency, and patient safety. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into high-impact product capabilities - helping healthcare professionals make informed, data-driven decisions.
Responsibilities
Lead Product Roadmap & Execution
- Owning one or more key product features within the Drug Information portfolio, guiding them from concept through delivery and adoption.
- Translating qualitative and quantitative customer insights into clear product requirements and prioritized roadmaps.
- Prioritizing product backlog, ensuring backlog is transparent and understood by stakeholders.
- Working closely with product development on execution of backlog items to ensure deliverables meet requirements.
- Partnering closely with Technology, Content, Commercial, and Clinical teams to deliver product releases that meet quality, usability, and performance standards.
- Responding to customer support issues and enhancement requests.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and data integrity requirements relevant to drug information systems.
Customer Focus & Market Insight
- Engaging directly with pharmacists, clinicians, and health IT customers to deeply understand their workflows, challenges, and emerging needs.
- Maintaining awareness of market trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory changes shaping the drug information landscape.
- Segmenting customers and identify opportunities to tailor product features for specific user groups or markets.
Drive Strategy and Measurable Impact
- Supporting the development of product vision and strategy aligned with Elsevier's Clinical Solutions objectives.
- Using data-driven insights and KPIs to track adoption, engagement, and customer value.
- Developing and communicate business cases for investment, grounded in commercial and clinical impact.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Working with Product Marketing and Commercial teams to prepare go-to-market materials and enable successful launch and adoption of new features.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders across Technology, UX, Operations, and Customer Success to ensure smooth execution and continuous improvement.
- Serving as a key liaison for feedback loops—both gathering insights from customers and sharing product direction internally.
Qualifications:
- Have 6-8 years of experience in product management and/or healthcare technology.
- Proven success delivering products users love, ideally in clinical or health system contexts.
- Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards (FHIR, HL7, SNOMED, RxNorm, etc) and analytics tools/platforms. Experience with the use of product management tools including Jira and Aha! is a plus. Prior use of Aha! Is a plus
- Experience applying AI/ML or GAI to product management is a strong plus.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced training or experience in informatics, health tech, or healthcare delivery preferred. Clinical background also a plus.

U.S. National Base Pay Range: $102,800 - $171,300. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates.
