Description
The Senior Program Coach's main job is to connect with, support, and guide families through the Waterford Upstart experience. In this role, you'll be an expert in communicating with families, team members, and management to ensure a great program experience. You'll also serve as a role model for other coaches by exceeding departmental standards and helping create a motivational and inclusive environment.
 
Responsibilities
  • Provides exceptional guidance and support to families, caregivers, and coaches from diverse backgrounds, ensuring a positive learning experience and a safe workplace
  • Communicates effectively with an understanding of different cultures and learning goals to tailor coaching strategies for each child’s needs
  • Participates collaboratively in family events, departmental enhancements, and team meetings while fostering relationships with other teams and departments
  • Contributes to a positive team environment with creative solutions and fresh perspectives
  • Builds strong relationships with peers and leadership through trust and shared commitments
  • Assumes leadership and provides support to the team in the absence of their manager
  • Monitors Salesforce reports and assists with managing reports for the team
  • Gives and receives constructive feedback to foster personal and team growth.
  • Actively listens and respects different perspectives to promote collaboration.
  • Consistently achieves high-quality scores (90% or above on line items), meets productivity goals and expectations, and successfully manages additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Meets all minimum number of attempt requirements for all users (Priority 1-4)
  • Productivity levels are consistently above the required attempts for the families you serve (Provider, Personal, Group, etc.)
  • Successfully works within the complexities of departmental processes to enhance the family experience, increase usage and progress through the software, and boost family engagement.
  • Develops innovative solutions and creates processes for their implementation
  • Contributes to and frequently leads special projects within the department and across departments.
  • Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and Confluence
  • Evaluates options, makes informed decisions, and adapts quickly to align with overall goals
  • Continuously champions, promotes, and advances diversity, equity, and inclusion at Waterford.org
 
Qualifications:
  • BS/BA in education, family studies, social work, psychology, sociology, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of experience in early education, social work, or a similar field.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Program Coach with a consistent Quality Evaluation score (90% or above on line items) for six (+) consecutive months and meeting or exceeding productivity requirements 
  • Required to participate in family events, departmental enhancements, and team meetings while fostering collaboration with other teams and departments.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse families and understand different cultural perspectives
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills across phone, email, and text, with strong grammar and professionalism.
  • Proven ability to work independently, solve problems creatively, and stay organized while responding promptly to updates and team announcements
  • Able to transition quickly between transactional calls and strategic calls at a moment’s notice
  • Process-driven, deadline/goal-driven, and detail-oriented
  • Strong emotional intelligence, cultural humility, and inclusivity
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic, punctuality, and timely completion of tasks
  • Strong commitment to maintaining reliable attendance and contributing to a productive and cohesive work environment.
  • Experience collaborating with colleagues to quickly learn new processes and troubleshoot technical issues.

Waterford.org team members are located across the United States and primarily work from home. We anticipate this full time, hourly position will pay $24.00 - $26.00 per year depending on the education, experience and skill level of the individual we hire. We also offer a phenomenal benefits package that includes fully paid primary premiums for health insurance, dental insurance, basic life insurance, and disability insurance.
