As a Salesforce Administrator/Developer, you’ll play a vital role at Colibri Group working supporting our financial services brands. We are looking for a proactive individual that can help us continually improve and enhance our Salesforce platform, gathering requirements and feedback, and designing scalable best practice solutions. Our Salesforce user experience is of great importance to us, therefore the Salesforce Administrator should enjoy all aspects of user management including support tickets, training, and designing solutions with user satisfaction a priority. 

Position Overview

We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of the Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud platforms, including Salesforce CPQ & Billing, who can understand both our current setup and our business objectives, in order to quickly identify areas of improvement.

The Senior Salesforce Administrator/Developer should be comfortable with change management and governance, as well as communicating, prioritizing, and managing all aspects of a Salesforce project. The ideal candidate will be happy liaising with stakeholders at all levels, with the ability to translate technical information into layman's terms, clearly explaining design options and their potential impact. The Senior Salesforce Administrator/Engineer will report directly to the Director of Information Technology, Salesforce

What You'll Do

  • All aspects of user and license management, including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, sharing rules 
  •  Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, dashboards and reports 
  •  Develop Apex (classes and triggers), Visualforce*, (based on specific requirements) to extend Salesforce in order to support business requirements
  • Custom User Interface development, including Visualforce* pages/Lightning pages, Aura Components** and Lightning Web Components  
  • Integrations: Use Salesforce APIs to integrate with other systems used in the organization
  • Best Practices: Adhere to Salesforce best practices, maintain code documentation, and write / maintain test classes for all custom development
  • Sandbox environment management  
  • DevOps/release management experience 
  •  Identify and gather requirements, translating into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience  
  • Identify unused or underutilized platform features  
  • Own the communication of any platform changes to end users and stakeholders  
  • Data management to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed 
  •  Proactive system maintenance, including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer  
  • User support tickets  
  • Monitor and improve user adoption  
  • New user and ongoing user training  
  • Technical documentation  
  • Provide support along with Salesforce integrated applications and third-party suppliers including [Salesforce CPQ/Billing, DocuSign, Conga Composer, Qualtrics, etc.]   

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Strong Salesforce product knowledge and at least 5+ years’ of Salesforce Administration hands-on experience with (Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, and Salesforce CPQ & Billing), 2+ years Salesforce Developer experience  
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator & Certified Salesforce Advanced Administrator or Certified Salesforce Platform App Builder  
  •  Certified Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Certified Salesforce CPQ Specialist, Salesforce Billing Specialist Superbadge 
  • Advanced flow experience 
  • Information Technology or Engineering Degree
  • Desirable: Certified Salesforce Advanced Administrator, Certified Platform App Builder. Platform Developer II, JavaScript Developer I
