About the Role:
We are looking for a full-time Scientific Editor to join our editorial team. If you are enthusiastic, motivated, dynamic, mission-oriented, a team-player and love thinking about science broadly, then this could be the role for you.

We welcome applications from candidates with expertise in any topic area covered by the journal (https://www.cell.com/cell/aims) and we are especially interested in considering candidates with experience in computational biology, genetics/genomics, and cancer biology, machine learning, and clinical and translational research. This position is open for candidates at entry as well as more senior levels.

Core Responsibilities:

Recruiting exciting research studies and review material
Assessing submitted research papers
Overseeing the peer review process and publication of papers
Engaging the scientific community in their labs and at conferences to learn about scientific developments and establish relationships
Developing and executing strategy in a specific topic covered by the journal
