Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Training Development & Delivery
- Designs and implements annual IT security awareness training curriculum for all employees
- Creates engaging monthly security communications and newsletters
- Develops targeted training modules for specific departments based on their unique security requirements
- Delivers in-person and virtual presentations at department meetings
- Designs specialized online training content for different risk profiles and roles
- Compliance & Metrics Management
- Monitors and reports on key security awareness metrics (phishing test performance, training completion rates)
- Tracks percentage of employees reporting phishing attempts
- Identifies trends and areas for improvement in security awareness
- Works one-on-one with employees who fail phishing tests or experience security incidents
- Develops remediation plans for individuals with persistent compliance challenges
- Content & Knowledge Management
- Maintains and optimizes Security's Confluence and SharePoint sites
- Ensures policies, standards, and security resources are easily accessible
- Creates user-friendly documentation and quick reference guides
- Implements effective information architecture for security resources - Threat Intelligence Integration
- Collaborates with Security Incident Response team to understand emerging threats
- Develops timely awareness content addressing current threat landscape
- Updates training materials to incorporate lessons learned from incidents
- Creates targeted communications during heightened threat periods
Qualifications
Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Required Skills and Experience:
Demonstrated experience developing security awareness training programs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience measuring and analyzing security awareness metrics
Strong presentation skills and comfort speaking to groups of various sizes
Proficiency with content management systems (Confluence, SharePoint)
Desired Skills and Experience:
Security awareness certifications (SANS GIAC Security Awareness, CISSP, etc.)
Experience with learning management systems
Background in instructional design or adult education
Knowledge of security compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.)
Experience with phishing simulation platforms

Benefits eligibility may differ depending on full-time or part-time status. Compensation depends on the applicable US geographic market. The expected base pay for this position ranges from $78,300 - $83,000 annually, and will be based on a number of additional factors including skills, experience, and education.
