TITLE: Senior Software Development Engineer

DUTIES:

Architect and develop automation and coding infrastructure. Devise testing strategy and guide scrum teams towards efficient high-quality releases. Conduct and analyze performance tests over large scale distributed networks. Design test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures. Design or develop automated testing tools; craft and drive a unified manual and automated test strategy. Conduct software compatibility tests with programs, hardware, operating systems, or network environments. Perform initial debugging procedures by reviewing configuration files, logs, or code pieces to determine breakdown source. Coordinate user or third-party testing. Upgrade and maintain integration testing environments. Maintain, support and extend existing in-house automation for different applications. Remote work from home is acceptable within a reasonable commuting distance of the Chandler, AZ office.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of
study and five (5) years of experience as a Software Development Engineer, QA Lead
or related role where required experience gained.

SPECIAL SKILLS:

Also requires five (5) years of experience in the following:
Java and JavaScript programming;
QA automation framework including Selenium/WebDriver, Jenkins, TestNG,
and Scripting Environments;
Performance testing concepts and approaches including tools like JMeter or
similar;
Designing testing scenarios, decomposing and isolating software
features/functions, and developing automated test strategies;
Source control, development environments, build tools, and deployment
pipelines;
HTTP APIs – REST/SOAP API testing;
Agile/SCRUM;
Relational database concepts and SQL language;
UI/API test-driven development (TDD) automation framework; and
Training, mentoring and leading junior developers/SDETs.
