Senior Software Engineer - Front End

Santa Clara, CA Hybrid

We are seeking a passionate, results-oriented, engineer to solve our next generation challenges and define our technical strategy. We have a team culture that encourages innovation and expects developers and management alike to take a high level of ownership for the product vision, technical architecture, and project delivery.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop applications and components using React and TypeScript
Have a strong eye for the operational aspects of the platform such as deployment, performance tuning and monitoring
Lead and participate in critical, technical, and product discussions with leaders across our engineering, product and business teams
Key player in delivering scalable, high-visibility commerce initiatives
Ownership of the entirety of your features from design to deployment
Work as an escalation point to troubleshoot any production issues
Keep technical debt low by reinforcing our Engineering culture of code reviews, solid test coverage, and documentation

Qualifications:

5+ years of industry experience building high quality, highly performant, resilient and secure presentation layers for high traffic sites
Technical leadership in building and maintaining scalable production applications built with JavaScript/Typescript,NodeJS, NextJS, React and GraphQL
Strong experience in implementing complex Web UIs that leverage GraphQL or Rest based APIs.
Experience debugging across the entire frontend stack.
Active interest not only in application code but also maintainable and scalable software architectures.
Effective written and verbal communication skills. Must be a team player and work well in a team environment.

Preferred:

Experience working in large scale e-commerce retail applications
Flexibility; able to quickly pivot based on business priorities
Experience integrating payment methods for international market consumption

The pay range for this position is $102,711 to $254,332. The actual pay will vary based on geographic location, job requirements, professional experience, and other factors.
