Senior Software Engineer - Front End
Santa Clara, CA Hybrid

We are seeking a passionate, results-oriented, engineer to solve our next generation challenges and define our technical strategy. We have a team culture that encourages innovation and expects developers and management alike to take a high level of ownership for the product vision, technical architecture, and project delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop applications and components using React and TypeScript
  • Have a strong eye for the operational aspects of the platform such as deployment, performance tuning and monitoring
  • Lead and participate in critical, technical, and product discussions with leaders across our engineering, product and business teams
  • Key player in delivering scalable, high-visibility commerce initiatives
  • Ownership of the entirety of your features from design to deployment
  • Work as an escalation point to troubleshoot any production issues
  • Keep technical debt low by reinforcing our Engineering culture of code reviews, solid test coverage, and documentation

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of industry experience building high quality, highly performant, resilient and secure presentation layers for high traffic sites
  • Technical leadership in building and maintaining scalable production applications built with JavaScript/Typescript,NodeJS, NextJS, React and GraphQL
  • Strong experience in implementing complex Web UIs that leverage GraphQL or Rest based APIs. 
  • Experience debugging across the entire frontend stack. 
  • Active interest not only in application code but also maintainable and scalable software architectures. 
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills. Must be a team player and work well in a team environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience working in large scale e-commerce retail applications
  • Flexibility; able to quickly pivot based on business priorities
  • Experience integrating payment methods for international market consumption

The pay range for this position is $102,711 to $254,332. The actual pay will vary based on geographic location, job requirements, professional experience, and other factors.
