Job Description
As the Senior Specialist - Learning & Development Solutions, you will be responsible for facilitating the successful implementation of a transformational digital platform. You will be responsible for deployment planning, training development, and leadership in both virtual and in-person settings. The candidate must demonstrate a proactive mindset, excellent communication & problem solving skills and strong leadership skills with an eagerness to learn and adapt.
Responsibilities:
- Support the deployment readiness process for one or more tracks of a complex digital platform. This could include contributing to development tasks for instructor-led, virtual, blended, and onsite work for Wesco leaders and employees.
- Drive adoption and optimal utilization of our enterprise sales methodology through CRM, CPQ and other commercial applications.
- Partner with stakeholders, subject matter experts (SMEs) and Instructional Design Teams to Develop, edit, and implement documents, PowerPoint presentations, and modules.
- Manage the design and development of relevant deliverables that meet the needs of stakeholders including online courses, job aids, quick reference guides, observation checklists, curriculums, instructor-led training, and manager-led workshops. This may include the need to facilitate and deliver instructor-led training and workshops.
- Create and administer onboarding programs and activities via our LMS, Intranet, and SharePoint systems, and project management and collateral storage processes.
- Assist in establishing KPI metrics collected from employees engaged in learning events and communicate the data to key partners and business leadership. Align with senior management and program leads on business objectives, outcomes, and ROI expectations. Provide regular status reports and analysis.
- Create, update and/or deliver project overviews and presentations to varied audiences.
- Ability to flex priorities and task completion as business priorities change.
- Interface with Product Owners to break down complex information into digestible units.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree - Business Admin, Marketing, Organizational Development required; Masters Degree preferred
- 3+ years in a Learning and Development role
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and manage a variety of resources
- Ability to develop training materials and programs from scratch, formally or informally
- Ability to consult with all levels of management to determine viable solutions to problems in a corporate environment
- Understands traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job, virtual or face- to-face classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Suite preferred
- Instructional design & principles of adult learning experience is preferred
- Experience in a functional discipline such as Sales, Operations, Finance, Procurement, and/or Human Resources is preferred
- Experience in complex IT/Digital systems or platform deployments is preferred
- Ability to travel up to 25%

- Compensation Details
- $57,622 - $92,195 Annually
This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.
For eligible positions, compensation may also include participation in a bonus or sales compensation plan paid according to achievement against sales targets and/or business objectives. Depending on the role, equity and other forms of compensation may also be provided as part of a total compensation package.
