SMPA is seeking a Student Services Specialist who will be responsible for recruitment and enrollment of students in the SMPA graduate and undergraduate programs; advise M.A. students and support course scheduling in collaboration with faculty; manage students community-building activities, and manage awards to current and admitted graduate students. This position will act as a resource for SMPA students, faculty and staff on enrollment and recruitment and class scheduling. This position reports to the Director of Special Projects and Administration. This position does not have direct reports but may schedule, train and supervise temporary staff or student workers.
Performs other work related duties as assigned. The omission of specific duties does not preclude the supervisor from assigning duties that are logically related to the position. |

| Minimum Qualifications: | Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization plus 2 years of relevant professional experience, or, a Master’s degree or higher in a relevant area of study. Degree must be conferred by the start date of the position. Degree requirements may be substituted with an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. |
