As a Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant, you will serve as a trusted partner to hiring managers and search committees, assisting in end-to-end recruitment efforts for a wide range of positions. You’ll bring expert industry knowledge, innovative sourcing strategies, and a consultative approach to help shape the university’s workforce—today and for the future.
Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 3 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience.
Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Certified Recruiting Specialist (CRS), or Advanced Internet Recruitment Strategies (AIRS) certification.
  • Higher education and/or government experience.
  • PeopleAdmin applicant tracking system experience.
  • LinkedIn Recruiter experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Thorough knowledge of human resources policies and procedures as well as principles and best practices of human resources.
  • Thorough knowledge of state/federal law.

Develop recruitment plans and design various recruitment strategies to assist in filling positions. Source potential candidates through online channels and data mining (e.g. social platforms and professional networks). Design, foster, and maintain effective long-term relationships with applicants, potential candidates, social and professional organizations and the community to build a pool of qualified, diverse active and passive talent. Research, collect and analyze a wide variety of complex information requests using internal and external resources for preparing and submitting various reports, such as time to fill, trends in talent availability, hiring practices and recruitment strategies. Leads management of the LinkedIn Recruiter platform to support talent acquisition strategies and optimize recruitment outreach. Acts as the primary point of contact for platform management and training.
