Responsibilities
As a Senior Trainer you will develop and coordinate training to improve individual teammate and SCA Health enterprise performance, including both onboarding of new teammates and ongoing development for established teammates. SCA Health is committed to deploying modern technology and AI across the enterprise. The Senior Trainer will work as a change agent to ensure we are deriving the most benefit from our technology investments, enhancing our productivity as an organization, and supporting our teammates as they integrate new technologies and processes in their day-to-day operations.
- Design, plan and organize orientation and training programs for teammates to set them up for success in their positions
- Develop training plan by region, department and role
- Partner with each department and region leaders and discuss instructional design and content
- Advocate for the use of technology to enhance individual performance and productivity.
- Design and prepare educational aids and materials
- Researches, develop, and implement new training strategies
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate training effectiveness and make recommendation or modifications to the program as they arise
- Ensure initial and annual training requirements are met
- Coordinate technology being used for in-person training
- Manage the training process; implement, schedule, track completion and compliance or teammates
- Monitor teammate performance during training process and report any concerns to their leader
Qualifications
- This position requires a minimum of an Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Training, HR, IT, Communications or related field
- 2 years of experience coordinating and developing training
- 5 years’ experience in a training-related role
- Ability to learn new technologies (AI, software packages, online tools, services) and craft appropriate educational artifacts
- Ability to craft and deliver multiple modality trainings
- Ability to write compelling use cases, educational articles, conceptual presentations
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from teammates/coworkers as well as groups of leaders and internal customers
- Ability to respond effectively and manage common organizational resistance to change, thereby facilitating adoption of new technologies and workflows
- Must have solid understanding of MS365 software (Powerpoint, Teams, Sharepoint, Word, Excel)
