At Vector Solutions, we’re on a mission to serve everyday heroes in public safety, education, and industry with smart, effective training and operational tools. We’re looking for a strategic, research-driven Senior UX Designer to join our central UX team and help elevate the user experience across our portfolio of enterprise learning management products—including our flagship platform, Target Solutions.

As a Senior UX Designer, you’ll work collaboratively across product, engineering, and research to shape intuitive, accessible, and high-impact user experiences. You’ll own the UX vision for your products, design iteratively in Figma, and lead foundational research that informs every step of the product lifecycle. This role is for someone who thrives in complex systems, knows how to translate ambiguity into action, and believes great design starts with empathy. 

What You'll Do: 
  •  Lead UX efforts for one or more enterprise LMS products, driving both strategic vision and day-to-day execution
  • Apply Design Thinking methodology to guide teams from problem framing to solution validation
  • Plan and conduct UX research using a mix of qualitative and quantitative methods
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma, iterating based on feedback and testing
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and other UX teammates in an agile environment
  • Contribute to design consistency through shared UX patterns and systems
  • Communicate design rationale and research insights clearly to stakeholders and partners
  • Other duties as assigned 

Requirements
  •  5 years of experience designing digital products, preferably in enterprise or SaaS environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Human Factors, Psychology, or a related field (preferred) , or equivalent experience 
  • Proven experience applying Design Thinking to real-world product challenges
  • Advanced skill in UX research—from planning studies to synthesizing insights that drive product direction
  • Autonomous, proactive work style—you’re comfortable leading workstreams, setting your own calendar, and initiating research and design
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, especially in stakeholder conversations
  • Proficiency with Figma and agile team workflows

Preferred: 
  • Master’s degree in a related field (e.g., HCI, Design, or Behavioral Sciences) 
  • Experience in e-learning, public safety, or compliance-driven industries
  • Familiarity with accessibility principles and designing for scale
