Description

Location Requirements: Remote, hours worked will be in Central or Pacific time zone 

Your role on the team:

The Service Request Engineer will work on a team responsible for helping to ensure the successful delivery of client service requests.    

You can expect to:

  • Gain deep understanding of a minimum of three solutions (ex. ERP, SIS, PG) from client perspective, technical & implementation perspective   
  • Understand and implement data needed for importing, exporting and integrations  
  • Understand and implement importing and exporting tools (as applicable)  
  • Understand Frontline's core values, pillars and corporate/department goals 
  • Successfully map requirements & data needs for appropriate integrations 
  • Understand state specific needs/requirements, as appropriate  
  • Gain K12 industry experience as it pertains to Frontline Education & our software solutions 
  • Work set-up dashboard & reporting  
  • Perform data loading and data queries (reporting)  
  • Provide technical expertise and training to colleagues and clients 
  • Provide feedback on existing product based on efficiency gains and customer needs 
 
What you bring to the role:

  • Ability to understand and manage data mapping and data rules 
  • Ability to cross-train on a variety of Frontline Education solutions 
  • Ability to independently address client Service Requests  
  • Ability to communicate effectively - both verbally and written - to peers, leadership and business partners including strong questioning and listening skills and ability to look beyond obvious answers to understand impacts  
  • Team player, but exceptional at working independently  
 
This role requires:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or 5+ years of prior experience working in a SaaS based company 
  • Previous experience successfully working multiple client requests simultaneously with minimal supervision 
  • 5+ years serving customers, ideally during a company’s growth mode as a Technical Support Engineer (or similar role) for SaaS company  
  • Technical proficiency, solution mindset, communication and organizational skills are top strengths  
  • Strong analytical skills, data management and reporting capabilities  
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities, with diligence to finding root cause  
  • Data cleansing experience   
  • Experience preferred with Technical Integrations (SFTP, Web-Services, REST APIs, etc.)   
  • Prior experience assisting existing/new customers with the processes/requirements involved in setting up SSO, SFTP and other specialized SQL Server Integration Service (SSIS) projects to receive/deliver solution application data 
  • Proficiency in MS EXCEL, MS OFFICE, MS SQL/PLSQL, C#, TSQL/CLR, FTP/HTTP, Scripting   
  • Prior experience analyzing, building and providing custom SQL based reports via the application reporting tools/functions. 
  • Prior experience working with SaaSIO/Cloud/Systems and Dev Teams where special coordination of resources, and technical appropriations are necessary
