Job Description Summary
Two separate social media positions available: One exclusively for the animation and VFX program and one for general social media
Responsibilities
ANIMATION-FOCUSED POSITION:
  • Edit media and create written content for social media posts focused on the Animation and VFX (AVE) program
  • Assist Dodge Communications with social media posts to the Dodge accounts (Instagram and TikTok) and coordinate postings with the CAVESA social media officer
  • Meet with AVE faculty weekly to present the work-in-progress and discuss priorities
  • Coordinate with Communications to organize photography and videography of significant AVE events
  • Gather a collection of video and written testimonials from students about their positive experiences in AVE
  • Gather video and written testimonials from students enrolled in high-profile internships
  • Gather student artwork for carousel display on the Dodge AVE website
  • Edit work-in-progress teasers for senior films
  • Coordinate the rollout of senior films when they complete the festival circuit and are ready to debut on YouTube

GENERAL SOCIAL MEDIA POSITION:
  • Video Production: Create, edit, and fine-tune short-form video content specifically tailored for platforms such as Instagram Reels and TikTok.
  • Social Media Management: Aid in the execution of our social media strategy, ensuring timely and engaging posts across all platforms.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the broader communications team to brainstorm, plan, and execute comprehensive content strategies.
