We are looking for software developers who have a passion for technology and code. Beyond code, developers are expected to collaborate closely with others including technical product managers, designers and QA. Your ideas and perspectives are essential to making sure we are building the right things. 

Working on the D2L Lumi team, you will contribute to the development of new AI-powered products and features, integrating cutting-edge techniques and tools into our already advanced development processes. What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Experience in software development, preferably in a technology focused company 
  • Acumen with AI tools and techniques, ideally both in assisting software development and in delivering AI-powered features 
  • Ability to analyze and decompose problems into potential technical solutions 
  • Experience with OO design and proficient coding skills 
  • Experience with full-stack languages, such as C#, JavaScript/NodeJS, TypeScript, and Python, and frontend frameworks like Web Components and React 
  • Strong understanding of Computer Science topics including data structures, algorithms, databases, distributed systems 
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or similar technical discipline

This role is located in Vancouver, BC and has a hybrid office policy with an expectation of 3 days per week in office. 

The expected base salary range for a new hire in this role is listed below. The annualized base salary offered is determined by each candidate’s relevant knowledge, skills, education, training and experience. It is aligned to ensure both internal and external competitiveness using market data for the geographic location and industry. As part of the total compensation at D2L the role may be eligible for additional benefits including a Wellness Subsidy, Equity Grants, Variable Incentive, and more.

Base Salary Range
$90,000—$105,000 CAD
