Highlights

Manage recruitment, training, supervision, development, and evaluation of 20-30 undergraduate Peer Mentors and 3 graduate assistants per semester.
Oversee development of academic skills training materials and track adherence to College Reading & Learning Association (CRLA) certification standards.
Serve as primary contact for current and prospective students regarding program services.
Promote SOS Peer Mentoring program throughout campus.
Support other University Center for Academic Excellence (UCAE) activities as needed.
Utilize strong administrative and interpersonal skills.
Pay rate ranges from $26.00 to $28.00 per hour for a temporary, full-time position requiring 32 hours per week.
Requires a bachelor's degree and at least one year of full-time experience in higher education or a relevant field.
Preferred qualifications include a master's degree in counseling, higher education, or related discipline and at least two years of relevant experience.
Experience with student leadership development and supporting students on academic probation or facing academic challenges is preferred.
