We are seeking a Special Education Compliance Coordinator to ensure that all special education services are delivered in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role is essential in maintaining compliance, supporting educators, and ensuring that students with disabilities receive the services and support they need.

Key Responsibilities
· Implement and monitor policies and procedures related to special education programs.
· Maintain strong relationships with state, regional, and district-level special education leaders.
· Coordinate with related service providers to ensure timely delivery of services.
· Request and review special education records from students' previous schools to ensure compliance and completeness.
· Track and manage compliance timelines for IEPs, evaluations, and re-evaluations.
· Collaborate with the Special Education Director, teachers, and school leadership to address compliance issues.
· Schedule and facilitate ARD/IEP meetings; ensure appropriate documentation is distributed to staff and families.
· Support teachers with caseload management and service delivery tracking.
· Communicate directly with families (in both Spanish and English) to support understanding of special education processes and rights.
· Organize and maintain accurate student records for internal use and reporting to partner school districts.

Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in education, special education, or a related field.
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in special education or compliance coordination.
· Fluency in Spanish and English (spoken and written).
· Valid Special Education Teacher Certification.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
· Ability to pass all required background checks.

· Diagnostician Certification.
· Experience in both online and traditional school environments.
· Familiarity with ARD/IEP processes and special education documentation systems.
· Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse populations.

Work Environment
· This is a full-time, onsite position located at a secure facility.
· The role requires adherence to facility protocols and procedures.

Compensation & Benefits:
Stride, Inc. considers a person's education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position's work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee's salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position's level and expected contribution, and the employee's benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.
- We anticipate the salary range to be $50,000-70,000. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. This salary is not guaranteed, as an individual's compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
