Overview
Imperative is seeking an Instructional Systems Designer (ISD) experienced in designing and developing training for Special Operations personnel in particular and the US Military in General.  This individual will lead an effort to design and mature programs of instruction in Unmanned Systems and their integration into the Special Forces mission sets.  Work will be initially project-based, with the opportunity to transition to a long term engagement or employment relationship.

Work Location
Most work can be performed from home, the position will entail regular stand up meetings either virtually or in-person in the DC Metro area to coordinate.

Responsibilities
  • Work with subject matter experts across a team of companies to extract key information for designing programs of instruction.  
  • Develop a proposal ready POI covering several large topics related to unmanned systems operations, policy, planning, training, and integration.
  • Assist in identifying competent, credible instructors for certain topics as appropriate. 
  • Integrate ADDIE design and adult learning methodologies into a POI concept. 

Requirements
  • BA in Instructional Design, Education, Training Development 
  • Graduate of a Certified Instructor / Curriculum Development Course from a military service
  • Familiar with ADDIE
  • PMP or Agile certification desired
  • 5 or more years designing curricula IAW TRADOC 350-70 for SOF, EW, Cyber or UxS
  • Former SOF senior enlisted (SFC/E-7 or above), WO 3  or above, or Field Grade Officer (O-4 to O-6) - preferably from SF or JSOC
