Description
The Specialist's responsibilities include supporting Account Managers and Account Executives in cultivating strong relationships with OverDrive partners. This role contributes to the development of digital collections, supports customer retention, and helps build a sustained pipeline of new business and expansion opportunities.
Responsibilities
Develop a strong understanding of OverDrive products and services; clearly communicate value to prospective partners.
Act as a secondary point of contact for partner inquiries, supporting Account Managers.
Support contract and subscription renewals with a focus on customer retention.
Provide consultative selling in collaboration with Account Managers to maximize partner value.
Travel with Account Managers to present Partner Analysis Reviews (PARs) and advocate for increased budget allocation.
Participate in weekly sales meetings to report progress and align strategy.
Proactively follow up on leads and nurture opportunities.
Identify and document new content sales opportunities within assigned territory.
Respond to partner inquiries with tailored solutions and information.
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and engagement.
Build strong, value-driven relationships with prospects and partners.
Cleanse and update lead data in CRM; research prospects using digital tools (e.g., LinkedIn, industry sites).
Ensure smooth handoff of partner expectations to internal teams.
Submit weekly feedback and opportunity analysis.
Meet or exceed performance and activity targets.
