Job Title: Business Change Analyst (Data Privacy Analyst)

Reports to: Data Management and Privacy Lead

Grade: IC20

Location: UK

Job Purpose: The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our supporting the Data Management and Privacy programme, including working with the Data Privacy and Security Ambassador strategy, to grow and cement this into business teams across the business, ensuring the successful delivery, implementation and tracking of privacy and security change initiatives. You will work closely with the Data Management and Privacy Lead for day-to-day direction and alignment with the overall transformation programme. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a proven track record in managing change within a complex business environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the existing Data Privacy and Security Ambassadors, growing and building the team to include wider representation across the business.

  • Maintain up-to-date records of Ambassador meetings, including agendas, minutes, resources and other materials relating to the Ambassador strategy.

  • Maintain the Team Data Privacy and Security SharePoint site and resources held there.

  • Scheduling & Coordination : Arrange meetings, CPD training sessions, and workshops for the Ambassadors,

  • Template Management : Assist in updating and formatting privacy templates, forms, tools, resources and other materials being developed.

  • Project implementation : Support the Ambassadors with implementation in respect of signposting and utilising resources and tools.

  • Project tracking : Track projects and engagement, using data and other insights.

  • Documentation Support : Help collate evidence for audits, investigations, and compliance reviews.

  • Filing & Archiving : Organise and archive privacy-related documentation in line with retention policies.

  • Provide input , document requirements, and support the design and delivery of future operations and services.

  • Develop and implement change management strategies and plans that maximise internal team and Associate adoption and usage while minimising resistance.

  • Identify potential risks and anticipated points of resistance and develop specific plans to mitigate or address concerns.

  • Conduct impact analyses , assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders.

  • Support the design, development and delivery of internal and Associate messaging around key privacy and security updates.

  • Track and report issues and define and measure success metrics to monitor change progress.

Skills:

  • Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.

  • Basic understanding of data protection and cyber security principles (training can be provided).

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint).

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion .

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Business Change Analyst or in a similar role.

  • Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.

  • Team-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities

  • Reliable and proactive.

  • Willingness to learn and develop knowledge in data protection.
