Specialist, Project Manager Full Description

Overview

The Go-To-Market (GTM) Readiness Specialist is a critical execution partner responsible for ensuring the Higher Education sales organization is prepared for key selling seasons, product launches, and strategic GTM initiatives.

In partnership with the Lead Specialist of GTM Readiness, this role serves as the operational owner for cross-functional coordination, readiness tracking, communications, and enablement logistics required to deliver consistent, high quality GTM readiness at scale.

This role is highly execution focused and ideal for a team centric driven operator who thrives on organization, follow through, and turn complex initiatives into repeatable programs.

Key Responsibilities

1. GTM Program Execution

  • Own day-to-day execution for GTM programs, including selling seasons, product launches, and strategic sales initiatives.

  • Own and maintain readiness tracking systems (e.g.,Airtable, Asana, Smartsheet, Excel) for cross-functional tasks, dependencies, and deadlines.

2. Cross-Functional Coordination & Readiness

  • Partner with Sales leaders, Product, Marketing, Revenue Operations, Customer Success, and Commercial teams to coordinate GTM input requirements, and deliverables.

  • Drive consistent follow-up to ensure cross-functional commitments are met on time.

3. Communications & Enablement Operations

  • Draft and prepare GTM communications, sales updates, training materials, and recaps.

  • Coordinate the execution of enablement activities, including scheduling sessions, preparing agendas, and ensuring materials are complete and accessible.

4. Selling Season Support

  • Support planning and execution for major sales events and selling seasons, including national sales meetings and leadership-driven sales initiatives.

  • Coordinate session planning, presenter logistics, content readiness, and post-event follow-ups.

  • Support sales engagement programs by coordinating seller feedback loops, readiness insights, and post-program analysis.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in GTM operations related role, e.g. sales enablement, revenue operations, marketing operations, program coordination, or project management within a cross-functional environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-workstream initiatives across multiple teams and stakeholders.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-driven, with a strong track record of follow-through.

  • Strong written communication skills, including experience drafting internal updates, enablement materials, or project documentation.

  • Comfortable coordinating meetings, schedules, and logistics across senior stakeholders.

  • Experience working with CRM, project management, and enablement platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Asana, or similar tools).

  • Adaptable and solution-oriented, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience experimenting with or applying AI-powered tools to improve efficiency, automate workflows, enhance content quality, or accelerate coordination and reporting.
