Primary Focus
Leads the delivery of complete digital courseware, ensuring all componentsâtext, media, interactives, assessments, and final filesâare produced on time, within budget, and to specification. The Content Project Manager coordinates editorial, learning design, media, vendor, and QA teams, manages project requirements and resources, and is accountable for project execution, tracking milestones, and handoff to publishing or platform teams.

Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of content and components for assigned projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget, and quality results.
Build and coordinate workflow schedules, budgets, and resource plans across development workstreams, including internal and external contributors.
Manage deliverables from vendors and contributors, track progress against milestones, and participate in production meetings.
Identify and resolve operational risks and workflow issues, maintaining transparent communication and project momentum.
Ensure deliverables meet quality, accessibility, and readiness standards at each stage.
Partner with the Content Strategy & Delivery Manager and Editorial Development team to maintain strategic alignment.
Support platform migration and digital delivery efforts and drive workflow efficiency and process improvements.
Tools Used
Project management platforms (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet), trackers, dashboards, MS Office suite, Alfresco, SharePoint, Confluence, Agile
Workflow Role
Oversees entire project lifecycle, pre-dev through post-production.
Pedagogical Involvement
Medium - leverages understanding of domain/discipline specific product and content requirements to ensure project delivery aligns with instructional goals.
Key Collaborators
All content roles, CPMs, Product Managers, Platform/Publishing teams
Success Measures
On-time, on-budget delivery; quality and workflow compliance, accuracy of project tracking and reporting supported by data.
