SR Admissions Representative Full Description

Overview: 
The Senior Admissions Representative is responsible for recruiting and enrolling qualified students, while providing ongoing support throughout the duration of the Student Enrollment Agreement. In addition to guiding prospective students through the admissions process, this role also serves as a key leader within the department, supporting the Director of Admissions, mentoring team members, and contributing to the overall success of the admissions function and student experience. 

Responsibilities: 
  • Conduct prospective student interviews following established procedures and ensure eligibility per the school catalog
  • Maintain accurate knowledge of all programs to effectively market career paths to prospective students
  • Provide campus tours and ensure each applicant receives a catalog (including addenda) before enrollment
  • Submit enrollment paperwork and student payments promptly and accurately.
  • Maintain required admissions documentation in compliance with institutional and regulatory policies
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and accrediting body regulations related to admissions activities
  • Avoid any involvement in financial aid discussions outside approved guidelines
  • Do not misrepresent the institution, programs, outcomes, or employment prospects in any form
  • Maintain integrity and professionalism in all student interactions, without discrimination or false promises
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with enrolled students to support strong start and retention rates
  • Immediately report cancellations or changes in enrollment to the Director of Admissions
  • Assist with addressing student complaints and concerns as needed
  • Support new and less tenured admissions representatives with training and onboarding, including across campuses
  • Share best practices and assist with departmental training as requested
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal teams and departments
  • Lead planning and execution of on-site and off-site events for the Director of Admissions
  • Represent the admissions department during second interviews and recruitment events
  • Continually meet or exceed the criteria set forth by the campus leadership or Director of Admissions regarding admissions activity, start expectations, cancellation, retention and graduation rates, and the generation of student referrals
  • Participate in all scheduled admissions meetings and trainings
  • Handle multiple responsibilities as assigned, including support for departmental goals and leadership directives
  • Comply with all policies outlined in the Admissions Procedure Manual and school catalog
  • Other duties as assigned
 
Qualifications: 
  • HS Diploma or GED and minimum of one (1) year of experience with Concorde as an Admissions Representative or minimum three (3) years of experience working in Admissions Representative role with another institution (required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing or related field (preferred)
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in customer service and/or sales (preferred)
  • Online only - Minimum of three (3) years of online higher education experience (preferred)
  • Understand implications of new information for problem-solving and decision-making
  • Awareness of others' reactions and understanding motivations
  • Identify complex problems, evaluate options, and implement solutions

  • This position is eligible for a remote, hybrid, on campus or an onsite work location to meet business needs. Employees must be able to follow all safety precautions including the use of personal-protective equipment. Employees must also be able to adhere to site-specific safety procedures. Work environments may include exposure to student learning environments with a variety of conditions. Employees must meet minimum technical standards for eligibility and participation.
