A Brief Overview
The Senior L&D Specialist will create, execute, and measure programs that onboard new associates and managers, enhance performance, and develop leadership skills.
The Senior L&D Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end process of developing programs—including project management, stakeholder communication, content creation, facilitation, and measurement. They will manage the day-to-day administration of national onboarding programs and initiatives that promote continuous learning.
The Senior L&D Specialist will have the ability to collaborate, project plan, facilitate, and implement impactful training programs. They will constantly seek ways to improve and streamline our processes, and will keep content up to date. As we continue to refine our practices at Safelite and Belron, the Senior L&D Specialist will thrive in an environment of shifting priorities, maintain a positive attitude and embody the Safelite Spirit.
What you will do
- Responsible for managing programs including content creation and maintenance, collaborating with leaders and SMEs, communicating with stakeholders, facilitating sessions, results and reporting, and continuously looking for ways to improve the program or the processes that support it.
- Creates smooth and engaging learning experiences by owning communication management and learning experience logistics, scheduling sessions, managing participation, administering the learning management system. Provides support to both associates and leaders to provide recommendations and solutions to drive efficiencies and process improvement.
- Responsible for the development of high-quality programs and engaging training content to support business needs. Leverage team process and ways of working to drive cross-functional collaboration, create effective solutions, lead stakeholder review, ensure successful implementation with clear measures and reporting. Analyze results and make recommendations to improve programs for future iterations.

What you will bring
- Bachelor's Degree In Adult Learning, Communications, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or related field Required
- 4-6 years of experience implementing L&D and onboarding programs, following ADDIE, SAM, or similar project management process Required
- LMS experience, Workday Learning Preferred
- Experience presenting to and collaborating with leaders, stakeholders & SMEs Preferred
- Experience measuring effectiveness of L&D programs Preferred
- Experience with instructional design authoring tools (Articulate Rise, vYond, NovoEd Preferred
- Strong communication and problem solving skills
- Organization Skills, content and file management
- Project Management
- Facilitation Skills
- LMS (Workday Learning)
- Attention to detail and time management
- Understanding the learning design process (ADDIE, etc.) and adult learning theory
- Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
