Sr. Learning & Development Specialist
Position Summary:
As a Sr. Learning & Development Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and expanding dynamic Learning and Development initiatives. You'll be a creative architect, designing and facilitating engaging, impactful, and innovative learning experiences that empower our employees and drive both leadership and professional growth. In this role, you’ll also oversee our Learning Management System (LMS) and help deliver an outstanding New Hire Orientation, ensuring every team member has a strong start and continues to thrive. Job Description:
Primary Responsibilities
- Designs, develops and updates learning materials, resources, and training to address identified learning needs and objectives.
- Creates engaging and interactive learning experiences, including on demand, virtual and in person instructor-led training, video, and other learning modalities.
- Collaborates with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy, relevance and alignment with best practices and industry standards.
- Facilitates training sessions, ensuring effective delivery of content and engagement of participants.
- Utilizes adult learning principles and instructional design techniques to enhance learning retention and knowledge transfer.
- Manages learning management systems and other training platforms to deliver, track and report on training activities and outcomes.
- Monitors and evaluates learning effectiveness though assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in in related field or equivalent.
- 5+ years of related work experience in learning and development, with a focus on instructional design and facilitation.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training delivery techniques.
- Proficient in learning management systems, e-learning authoring tools and other training technologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Working Conditions
- Remote work.
- Minimum 25% travel.

Pay Transparency:
Factors that may be used to determine your actual pay rate include your specific skills, experience, qualifications, location, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to the base salary, certain roles may qualify for a performance-based incentive and/or equity, with eligibility depending on the position. These rewards are based on a combination of company performance and individual achievements.
The hiring range for this position is:$72,800.00-$97,400.00
