Summary 
The Sr. Manager, Operations Service & Support leads the delivery and support of learning products, events, and platforms across multiple formats including on-demand, virtual, hybrid, bookstore, and in-person. This role oversees key operational areas such as capacity planning, customer service, technology platforms, and vendor management to enable consistent, high-quality learning experiences globally. The position supports cross-functional collaboration and ensures the scalability and performance of learning operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end operations for on-demand, virtual, hybrid, bookstore, and in-person learning events, including conferences, webinars, and training programs
  • Oversee learning platforms (e.g., Docebo, Cvent), ensuring effective setup, maintenance, and support across all delivery modalities
  • Ensure world-class customer service from registration through post-event follow-up, including issuing CPE credits and resolving issues
  • Manage technology vendor relationships and partner with internal IT and project teams to optimize learning systems
  • Guide team in developing and documenting scalable processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Support strategic planning and cross-functional alignment by contributing to enterprise-wide initiatives and projects
  • Lead performance tracking and risk reporting for operations and service delivery
  • Foster a team culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and high performance
  • Coach team members, communicate clear goals, and ensure accountability for service standards
  • Support global learning initiatives, including language accessibility and regional delivery requirements
  • Manage publication operations, including order processing and fulfillment
  • Other duties as assigned.
 
Supervisory Responsibilities                   
This role has both direct reports and indirect reports.

  • LMS experience, including administration and development experience.
  • Project management skills.

  • Proven ability to improve processes through optimization of technology use, resource allocation or process redesign

Education and/or Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in learning, education, project management, information technology, business, or similar course of study.
  • 7 or more years of experience in learning operations and/or learning technologies.
  • 3 or more years of people leadership.
 
Technical Skills                            
  • LMS administration and development / customization.
  • Mastery of MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • SmartSheet experience preferred.
  • Cvent or similar event management platforms experience required.
 
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations 
Project management certificates are a plus.

Language Skills                                         
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from members, customers, volunteers, and individuals in the broader business community. Ability to consolidate data from a wide variety of sources, interpret its meaning, and present such information in a meaningful way to top management and/or volunteers.   

Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills 
Expert ability to work in a computerized environment with knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Web-related computer skills listed above.
