Job Description
Summary
We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on Senior Manager of Product Management to lead the development of engaging digital learning experiences—especially those delivered through mobile platforms and orchestrated through modern APIs. This role is ideal for a full-stack product manager who’s comfortable translating user needs into scalable solutions across front-end and back-end systems.

You’ll own the end-to-end product lifecycle, working closely with engineering, design, marketing, and business stakeholders to deliver intuitive, impactful products for K–12 learners, teachers, and schools. You’ll also play a critical role in shaping our platform’s extensibility and integration strategy through effective API management and user-centered product thinking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of digital and mobile-first learning products from concept to launch
  • Design and orchestrate full-stack solutions, including front-end experiences and back-end services/APIs that enable seamless learning journeys
  • Define clear product roadmaps, prioritizing features based on user impact, data insights, technical feasibility, and business value
  • Translate customer insights into actionable product strategies by engaging with students, families, educators, and internal teams
  • Collaborate with engineering to align business needs with technical implementation, including API contracts, data structures, and system integrations
  • Partner with UX/UI designers to deliver engaging and accessible interfaces that meet diverse user needs across web and mobile platforms
  • Work with cross-functional teams to define and execute go-to-market plans, adoption strategies, and support models
  • Monitor product success using metrics such as adoption, engagement, satisfaction, and learning outcomes, and use data to guide iteration
  • Stay informed on EdTech, mobile app trends, K–12 standards, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities

Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises 1–6 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees or contractors. Responsibilities include hiring, training, performance management, and team development, in alignment with company policies and leadership principles.

Qualifications
  • 4–6+ years of experience in product management, with demonstrated success launching and scaling digital products
  • Proven experience managing full-stack digital platforms, with knowledge of how APIs are designed, deployed, and consumed
  • Experience with mobile application product development (iOS/Android or responsive web)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders
  • Data-driven mindset with fluency in product analytics, experimentation, and KPI tracking
  • Experience in K–12 education or adjacent learning markets preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; advanced degree or certification in product management a plus

Preferred Skills
  • Agile product development expertise, including backlog management and sprint planning
  • Familiarity with tools like Figma, Jira, Mixpanel, Postman, or Swagger
  • Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG), instructional design, and EdTech compliance needs
  • Ability to balance vision-setting with execution—comfortable rolling up sleeves to get things done

Compensation & Benefits: Stride, Inc. considers a person’s education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position’s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee’s salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position’s level and expected contribution, and the employee’s benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.
  • We anticipate the salary range to be $102,088.13 to $140,000.00 per year. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. This salary is not guaranteed, as an individual’s compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
