Job Description
Are you ready to lead the transformation of automation solutions and cultivate a high-performing engineering team dedicated to excellence in production processes?

Join us as a Sr. Manager, Technology and Process Engineering, where you will orchestrate the revolution of packing processes, drive innovative automation, and ensure the seamless readiness of innovative products for production!

Core Responsibilities
  • Lead Site Process Engineering: Collaborate with R&D for establishment, qualification, validation, and continuous improvement while fostering team development.
  • Own Automation Technology Platforms: Manage PLC structure and standards; facilitate the hand-off from Manufacturing Design to Implementation, integrating new functions and ideas while advancing automation processes.
  • Strategically Plan and Implement: Plan, implement, and follow up on the validation of new processes and products.
  • Build and Hire a Dedicated Team: Implement process and technology engineering tasks effectively, ensuring the right experts support automation and technology integration.
  • Network with Global Engineering Departments: Introduce new technologies and share best practices across sites.

The New Product Introduction and Engineering department acts as a crucial bridge between development and Packing Production, ensuring the successful introduction and sustainability of new technologies, products, and processes. We set the pace and standards for product and technology introductions, collaborating closely with Production departments to optimize manufacturing efficiency.

  • Lead and Empower: Drive innovation and excellence in site ownership of Packing Processes and associated technologies, overseeing automation, establishing process standards, leading acceptance activities, and developing continuous improvements.
  • Final Step Before Production: Deliver processes and products that operate at the expected rate and capability. Together, we build high-performing teams that learn from one another and achieve collective success.
  • Technical Support: Provide regular technical support for process maintenance and ongoing improvements to ensure sustained operational excellence.
  • Technical Expert: Act as the technical expert in industrialization.


Do You Have What It Takes?

  • Experience in Manufacturing and Process Engineering: Including HMI interface and mechanical skills (spatial understanding, coordinate systems, physics).
  • Proficiency in PLC Automation Structure and Management: With skills in change management and process optimization.
  • Familiarity with Lean Techniques: A strong foundation in manufacturing technology.
  • Proven Leadership Abilities: In engineering management and production support, with a focus on building and leading strong teams.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Essential for collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Experience with New Facility Start-ups: Preferred for global standardization of technology.
  • Previous Experience in the Packing Industry: Desirable but not required.

Relocation will be provided for this position.
 
Compensation
The salary for this position has a range of $137,856.00 - $206,784.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
