Team & Position Description:
We are currently seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our Product Development team! This team brings together creative thinkers, product innovators, and strategic partners who collaborate to develop award-winning toys and games that inspire children to explore, learn, and grow. This role is uniquely positioned at the intersection of creativity and business performance. The Senior Product Manager will serve as the financial and analytical engine behind our product portfolio, translating sales data, margins, cost structures, and market insights into clear direction that shapes product decisions and portfolio strategy. This is an exciting opportunity for a numbers-oriented product leader who enjoys solving complex business challenges, influencing cross-functional teams, and driving measurable impact. The right candidate will think like a business owner, using data to uncover opportunities, guide product investments, and strengthen portfolio performance while partnering closely with Product Development, Creative, Sales, and Marketing teams.
What you’ll do day to day:
- Own the financial performance of assigned product lines, including margin targets, pricing strategy, cost structures, and lifecycle profitability
- Analyze sales trends, velocity, margins, and consumer insights to identify opportunities, risks, and portfolio gaps
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations that influence product roadmap and business decisions
- Partner with the Sr. Director of Product Development & Creative to align product strategy with both creative vision and financial goals
- Support Marketing and Sales teams with insights related to pricing tiers, positioning, promotions, and channel strategy
- Evaluate cost drivers, RFQs, and margin trade-offs
- Lead product performance reviews, portfolio optimization efforts, and post-launch analysis to improve future outcomes
- Develop reporting tools and dashboards that improve visibility into product performance and decision-making across teams
What we’re looking for (Key Performance Objectives):
- Use your analytical and financial expertise to evaluate product performance and identify portfolio opportunities that improve margin and revenue outcomes within the first 6 months
- Translate sales, cost, and market data into clear strategic recommendations that influence roadmap and investment decisions within the first 9 months
- Partner cross-functionally to guide the financial direction of new product launches, achieving defined margin and cost targets within the first year
- Build standardized reporting frameworks and performance dashboards that improve decision-making across Product, Sales, and Marketing teams within the first 90 days
- Lead post-launch performance analysis to identify root causes and actionable improvements for future product development cycles within the first 12 months
Requirements/Ideal Attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree required; business, marketing, finance, or related field preferred
- 6–10+ years of experience in product management, consumer products, finance, or a highly analytical business role
- Demonstrated experience working with product P&Ls, margins, pricing strategy, or cost modeling
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced Excel proficiency
- Experience working cross-functionally with Product Development, Sales, Marketing, & Operations teams
- Understanding of consumer products or retail-driven business environments preferred
- Ability to translate complex data into clear insights and business recommendations
- Highly organized, intellectually curious, and comfortable making data-driven trade-offs
