How You'll Contribute to Our Mission
Senior Product Marketing Managers at Frontline Education own the narrative for a product domain or portfolio, translating product and platform strategy into clear, compelling stories that drive customer understanding, adoption, and measurable business outcomes. They operate with a high degree of autonomy and raise the bar for the craft across the Product Marketing function.

Working within Frontline’s empowered product model, Product Marketing Managers serve as the source of the story across a product domain or portfolio. They partner with and influence Product Management, Product Design, Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to ensure alignment between what we build, how we position it, and how customers experience its value. They also mentor other Product Marketing Managers and set the standards the function follows.

In this role, you will define how our products are understood in the market, help architect our “Better Together” platform narrative, and ensure our messaging reflects real customer needs and outcomes.
 
How You'll Drive Success
 
Positioning, Messaging & Narrative Development
• Own product positioning, messaging, and value propositions across your domain or portfolio, and set the standards other Product Marketing Managers follow.
• Define and refine the product narrative, including ICP, customer problems, value drivers, and differentiation.
• Translate product capabilities into simple, customer-centered language that resonates with K-12 buyers.
• Help architect the broader “Better Together” narrative by ensuring individual product stories ladder into the larger platform story.
• Support development of pitch narratives, demo narratives, and product storytelling frameworks.
 
Go-To-Market Execution & Launch Support
• Lead go-to-market strategy for major launches and packaging changes across your domain, partnering with Product Management, and raise the bar on launch quality and repeatability.
• Own launch messaging and positioning, and drive internal alignment across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.
• Help ensure launches are grounded in validated customer needs and tied to measurable outcomes.
• Support readiness by aligning messaging across documentation, sales materials, and customer communications.

Customer, Market & Competitive Insight
• Conduct and synthesize customer, market, and competitive research to inform positioning and messaging.
• Develop a deep understanding of target personas, buying behavior, and decision drivers.
• Own the competitive and market point of view for your domain, and translate it into pricing, packaging, and positioning recommendations.
• Partner with Product and Design to ensure discovery insights are reflected in how we communicate value.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Influence product strategy and roadmap priorities with market and competitive evidence, and ensure messaging aligns with them.
• Collaborate with Design and Engineering teams to understand product capabilities and customer workflows.
• Work with Marketing to ensure messaging is effectively translated into campaigns and demand generation efforts.
• Partner with Sales and Customer Success to gather feedback and improve how value is communicated in real customer conversations.

Enablement & Value Communication
• Define the enablement strategy and messaging frameworks that Sales and Customer Success operate from, including pitch decks, messaging guides, and product overviews.
• Help ensure Sales and Customer Success teams can confidently communicate product value and differentiation.
• Personally drive positioning and value articulation in strategic, high-stakes deals and executive customer conversations.
• Ensure messaging remains consistent across the customer lifecycle.

Measurement & Continuous Improvement
• Track and analyze performance of messaging and go-to-market efforts using metrics such as adoption, engagement, and conversion.
• Use feedback from Sales, Customer Success, and customers to refine positioning and messaging.
• Support experimentation and iteration of messaging based on data and market response.
• Contribute to maintaining a closed feedback loop between Product, PMM, and Go-To-Market teams.
 
Leadership & Influence
• Mentor and coach Product Marketing Managers, raising craft quality and consistency across the function.
• Operate with a high degree of autonomy across ambiguous, cross-product problem spaces.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to Product and GTM leadership on positioning, packaging, and monetization.

What You Bring to Help Us Grow
• 10+ years (12+ preferred) of experience in Product Marketing, Product Management, or related roles within SaaS / enterprise software, including experience leading product marketing across multiple products or a portfolio.
• Strong ability to translate complex product capabilities into clear, compelling messaging.
• Track record of leading product launches and go-to-market strategy, and of shaping product strategy by influencing senior stakeholders without authority.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to clarity and exceptionally compelling storytelling.
• Analytical mindset with ability to use data and feedback to inform decisions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams.
• Strong customer empathy and curiosity about how users evaluate and adopt solutions.
• Familiarity with modern product practices, including empowered teams and continuous discovery.
• Demonstrated success mentoring or developing other product marketers.

Compensation & Benefits
• The full base compensation range for this position is $165,000-$185,000.
