As a Staff Experience Designer at Pluralsight, you will have the opportunity to define and shape our product strategy across our entire platform. You'll use your deep expertise and knowledge to deliver key business results and mentor other designers to help them grow and develop.

What you'll do:
  • Coach and work alongside teams aligned with critical initiatives, and facilitating cross-team collaboration
  • Defining, guiding, and conducting design research activities together with product teams to address key product questions
  • Applying research findings and insights to generate hypotheses and concepts that drive strategic progress
  • Using strategic and architectural methods, such as IA and OOUX techniques, to develop strong platform-level experience patterns and standards
  • Partnering closely with our design systems and operations team to integrate experience architecture with our interface patterns and design methods
  • Inspiring your teammates to adopt new methods and tools, by anticipating new platforms, media, and techniques and partnering to test and deploy them
  • Showing leadership by example and through the practice of design, and guiding others to deliver a delightful experience across our platform

Experience you'll bring:
  • You understand and have practiced the breadth and depth of product design skills and can guide others
  • You are a strong systems thinker who can define and solve complex problems elegantly, while maintaining an adaptable and pragmatic approach
  • You regularly employ IA and OOUX principles and techniques (ideally with a certification in OOUX) to define the right system of relationships and activities
  • You have shown a diplomatic and collaborative leadership style, with an approach based on understanding context and building credibility
  • You are a trusted authority who knows how to harness the power of data, insights, and storytelling to create a compelling case for a specific vision and path forward

Requirements:
  • 8+ years experience in UX Design or 6+ years with and advanced degree
  • Experience leading out on Design Principals to junior to senior staff.
  • This is a remote role; however, applicants located within 45 miles of our Westlake/Dallas, TX office should expect to work on-site Tuesday through Thursday, with remote flexibility on Mondays and Fridays. This approach enables more effective collaboration, quicker decision-making, and a stronger culture, while still providing flexibility.

The annual US base salary range for this role is $147,400 - $204,700 USD. Actual compensation will depend on location, skills, experience, and other factors. Additional benefits and bonuses may apply.
