Under the general supervision of the Director of Institutional Effectiveness, Research, and Compliance, provides data reporting and analysis of institutional data to support institutional decision-making, external reporting, and institutional compliance. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to interpret data requests, analyze requirements, and write computer programs to access data management information reports. Proficiency in working with large databases on a PC using Cognos, SQL, or oracle environment to gather specific and accurate data. Must be proficient with MS Office including Excel. Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 1 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience. Preferred: Experience working in a higher education environment is preferred; familiarity with USC system databases is desirable.
