Job Summary
Research data management: Manage data in the Department of Psychiatry across various research projects, including a large PCORI- funded research project. Work closely with study investigators to understand the study design and coding of the research data. Oversee the management, coding, and cleaning of specific data elements to meet the objectives of assigned research studies. Coordinate data management activities with investigators, faculty, staff and data providers. Develop and implement SOPS for integrating and managing data from various sources. May assist with resident research projects and conduct basic statistical analyses for research reports, presentations, or publications. Other research administrative tasks as assigned.Oversight of PCORI-funded project data collection: Coordinates and oversees work of data collection to ensure collection of high-qualitydata that will be entered into a data repository at the end of the study. Maintains and updates coding manuals, data set descriptions and all other documentation to ensure that any changes are communicated to and applied by all staff and subcontract team members working on study data collection. Codes and cleans study data per study protocol. Participates in team and data meetings to ensure that data collection is done consistently and according to study protocol. Development of SOPs for data management.Data analyses. Conduct basic data analyses and prepare data reports for study projects, including monthly reports for the funder on the PCORI-funded study, and assist with trainee research project data analyses.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities | Strong Excel and statistical software skills required, including SAS . Data coordination, data entry, data analysis, data management,clinical trial, surveillance, healthcare or research experience, project management and analysis.
