Job Description
We are seeking a driven and highly consultative Strategic Account Advisor to join our B2B team. This role is designed for a senior individual contributor who will be the company’s top salesperson. The ideal candidate has experience engaging with senior leadership and top-level decision-makers, understands complex client challenges, and can craft tailored solutions that deliver measurable value. This position does not involve managing others but requires strong internal collaboration across departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and manage relationships with senior leaders at client organizations
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
  • Lead complex consultative sales processes from initial conversation through close
  • Understand client goals, challenges, and environments to co-create tailored solutions
  • Understand delivery realities in order to ensure that meet or exceeds profitability thresholds 
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, customer success) to align offerings with client needs
  • Drive new business acquisition and grow existing accounts with strategic foresight
  • Prepare and present proposals to clients
  • Maintain accurate client records, keeping track of any contract updates and renewals in our CRM
  • Represent the company with professionalism and credibility in high-level discussions
  • Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and competitive positioning

Qualifications:
  • 8-10 years of B2B sales experience in a consultative or enterprise environment
  • Proven success engaging with senior leaders and closing high-value deals
  • Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy
  • Experience working to and exceeding revenue targets
  • Experience in working with and managing Agile teams
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strategic thinker who is also detail-oriented and execution-focused
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and highly accountable
  • While this is a non-technical role, this role requires a foundational understanding of software engineering and data science concepts. Familiarity with industry terminology and workflows is also required to effectively collaborate with technical teams and understand project scopes.

Compensation & Benefits: Stride, Inc. considers a person’s education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position’s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee’s salary level.  Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position’s level and expected contribution, and the employee’s benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.

We anticipate the salary range to be $124,950.75 to $239,697.60, Eligible employees may receive a bonus.  This salary is not guaranteed, as an individual’s compensation can vary based on several factors.  These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
