About the Role
 
As a Strategic Account Executive, you will develop and shape our global portfolio and sales strategy. Striving to build growth within targeted Retail Pharmacy, HealthIT and payer customers. You'll provide leadership for the sales process and management of all cross-functional teams. Taking ownership of our Enterprise Portfolio and creating strategies and solutions to meet our customers’ short and long-term needs.
 
Responsibilities
 
  • Leading the identification, exploration, and analysis of new opportunities to develop successful strategies and business initiatives within assigned strategic accounts
  • Taking ownership for engagements and communicating deal status to all key internal stakeholders to drive a successful sales process forward. (Commercial, Clinical Executive, and Account Management.)
  • Providing guidance to senior leadership, sales team and overall support structure to ensure communication, collaboration, and consistency in our approach
  • Driving improvements in the number of engagements to strengthen our overall business approach and improve our closure opportunities.
  • Educating our senior leadership group on industry trends and initiatives, while driving our value-based selling messaging.
  • Developing effective, collaborative relationships with C-Level executives, team members and stakeholders to ensure a successful sales outcome.

Requirements
 
  • Have a successful background and knowledge within the North American healthcare industry.
    Coupled with a certified secondary education from an accredited institution or university.
  • Demonstrate professional expertise with direct and Enterprise sales and closing multi-product, multi-year enterprise sales agreements with Commercial
    Healthcare Organizations.
  • Show expertise and knowledge of industry trends, commercial business models, enterprise deal structure and contract negotiations.
  • Display capability to develop and manage complex, multi-faceted executive sales process.
  • Demonstrate an existing contact base with C-Level decision makers at commercial organizations.
  • Able to collaborate and motivate cross-channel and functional teams.
  • Have a natural ability to engage, influence and build relationships with stakeholders and teams across the business.
  • Be able to travel to regional customers, around 30% of your working time.
