Manages services and accommodations for students with mental health disabilities, Learning Disabilities, ADD, and autism. Designs, develops, and administers policies and programs for students with mental health disabilities. Evaluates programs to ensure that students receive appropriate accommodations in all areas of academic programs and student life. Maintains student records, compiles data on student progress, trends and usage of services. Trains and supervises graduate assistants, interns, and temporary employees who work with students. Advises Deans, Department Chairs, and other administrators on appropriate accommodations and works to resolve conflicts between students, faculty, and staff. Reviews university policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Advises student organizations on responsibilities for providing accommodations and provides training to student leaders. Serves as liaison between the campus, parents, and other state agencies.
