The Student Services Coordinator supports the Center for Global Education by assisting with global engagement initiatives, international student services, and study abroad promotion. This role balances student-focused programming with administrative and operational support for the Program Manager and Director of Global Engagement. The Coordinator helps ensure that international students are well-supported, study abroad programs are effectively promoted, and institutional global initiatives are advanced.

  • Global Engagement Support: Develop and coordination of on and off campus global events to provide social and cultural experiences that enhance familiarity with global cultures often in coordination with other offices on campus and community partners. Communication of global engagement opportunities through monthly newsletters to alumni, global partner network, and campus community.
  • Responsible for international student programming: Plan events calendar which includes programming during evenings, weekends, and academic holidays. Provide or arrange transportation to and from planned events. Be actively involved during planned events to insure a safe and meaningful student experience. Coordinate with Office of Student Affairs and Campus Activities Board to provide international students with a weekly update of activities to encourage attendance and integration into the campus community.
  • Program Design and Development: In coordination with the Program Manager, work to promote all (faculty-led, exchange, dual-degree) study abroad and study away programs by representing the CGE at campus events, program information sessions, tabling events, in-classroom presentations, and through social media.
  • Support international student services which includes, but is not limited to, coordinating student arrival, departures, orientation, and other appointments required of international students. Arrange arrival details in coordination with the Office of Residential Life and/or local housing complexes.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree. Experience working or volunteering with international populations. Successful background check, valid driver’s license and good driving record and willingness to drive a 15 passenger van.

Preferred Qualifications:
