Montana State University is hiring a Student Services Coordinator - ILEAD. The coordinator will support participants by advising and assisting geographically separated students through the university system, ensuring effective grant administration, and maintaining a student management system to manage participant information and payback agreements.
Highlights
Provide student support to facilitate success and retention, acting as an ombudsman for geographically separated students.
Assist the Project Director with grant administration and budget management.
Develop and maintain a student management system to track participant data including contact information and payback agreements.
Coordinate communication and activities among campus departments and Native American-serving programs.
Prepare forms, maintain student files, and coordinate student support across campus agencies.
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in education or related field, work experience in university student support or grant management, and demonstrated strong administration and budget management skills.
Preferred qualifications include experience working with Native American populations, K-12 education experience, communication skills, and familiarity with data management systems like Banner.
Salary is $21.99 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Position contingent on continued grant funding with varying FTE over five years, starting at 0.5 FTE for the first three years.
