University at Buffalo is hiring a Student Staff Coordinator for the Career Design Center. The role involves managing the full talent lifecycle for a workforce of over 15 student employees, including recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, payroll coordination, training, coaching, and ongoing performance development. The coordinator will design and deliver professional development programs, develop training materials, and foster an inclusive, skill-building student employment experience.

- Design and implement learning and development programs that integrate Life Design, professional development, and role-specific competencies.
- Create structured development plans, competency-based milestones, and continuous performance evaluations for student employees.
- Develop and improve inclusive training content that promotes career readiness and transferable skills.
- Required qualifications include an Associate’s degree plus 2 years relevant experience or a Bachelor’s degree, experience in training design and facilitation, instructional content development, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
- Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field, experience supervising or mentoring, knowledge of HR processes, and familiarity with career development theories.
- Responsible for overseeing peer coaches, graduate assistants, interns, and experience ambassadors within the Career Design Center.
- Salary range is $51,261 - $56,430, full-time position, classified as UUP Professional.
- Reports to the Associate Director, Operations & Special Events in the Division of Student Life.
