- Location Requirement: Must reside in or be within driving distance of West Chester, PA.
- Site Observation Visits: There will be a total of 4, in-person site visits with each student teacher candidate during their semester. The number of available student teacher candidates can vary by semester.
- Professional Development: Offer valuable feedback on the Teacher Candidate's professional development and implementation of future educational plans.
- Foster Creativity and Responsibility: Encourage Teacher Candidates to take initiative, exercise creativity, and maintain a high level of responsibility throughout their student teaching experience.
- Record Keeping: Keep accurate records of Teacher Candidates' progress and performance.
- Evaluation Support: Provide insight into evaluation procedures and assist Teacher Candidates in understanding and navigating assessments.
- Build Relationships: Maintain a professional yet friendly rapport with both Teacher Candidates and Cooperating Teachers to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- MUST have all three clearances in order to be hired.
