Job Description

As expectations for schools continue to evolve, we need a collaborative leader who can bridge compliance and instructional practice — helping schools navigate requirements while keeping focus on teaching and learning. The Curriculum Compliance and School Support Supervisor will partner with school leaders and educators to ensure instructional programs are standards-aligned, well-implemented, and supportive of continuous improvement so that every school has the structure and support needed to help students succeed.

The Curriculum Compliance and School Support Supervisor coordinates curriculum and online provider approval processes that ensure curriculum quality, regulatory compliance, and support effective school-level implementation. The position manages online course provider approvals, standards alignment review, and curriculum application procedures while supporting school leaders with required reporting and documentation processes.

The manager collaborates with the curriculum development team and school-level stakeholders to ensure curricula meet state standards, school expectations, and accountability requirements. The role also provides targeted support to schools in improvement planning, data interpretation, and the implementation of instructional programs to foster improved student outcomes.

This position functions as a compliance, school, and stakeholder support role—ensuring curriculum programs meet required regulations while assisting schools in implementing high-quality, standards-aligned instruction that improves student achievement.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.

· Coordinate the review, approval, and monitoring of online course providers and digital instructional programs, including evaluation of course rigor and alignment to state academic standards and state curriculum expectations.

· Manage and support the curriculum approval process, instructional program adoptions, and implementation of approved resources, maintaining accurate documentation and encouraging implementation fidelity.

· Provide school stakeholder assistance with completing necessary compliance, audit, or authorizer documentation and accountability reporting.

· Collaborate with principals and school leadership teams to interpret achievement and accountability data and support the development, implementation, and monitoring of school improvement plans to foster improved student outcomes.

· Serve as a liaison among school leadership and the curriculum team regarding legislative requirements, curriculum and course approvals, standards alignment, and additional areas as they arise to maintain a strong collaborative partnership.

· Maintain program records, prepare reports for executives and school leadership, monitor policy or regulatory changes impacting instructional programs, and perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Curriculum & Instruction.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has supervisory responsibilities with both full-time and contracted employees.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Master's degree in Education, Curriculum & Instruction, Educational Leadership, or related field

· Valid teaching certificate (state certification required)

· Minimum five (5) years of successful classroom teaching experience

· Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum design and academic standards

· Experience using student achievement and assessment data to inform instruction

· Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills

· Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Certificates and Licenses: Valid teaching certificate, Project Management certification a plus

OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

· Skill in developing clear written guidance, reports, and procedural documentation.

· Proficiency with educational technology platforms, student information systems, and Microsoft/Google applications.

Compensation & Benefits: Stride, Inc. considers a person's education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position's work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee's salary level.  Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position's level and expected contribution, and the employee's benefits elections.  Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range. 

  • We anticipate the salary range to be $55,680.25 to $84,000.00. The upper end of this range is not likely to be offered, as an individual's compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
