This role leads the digital transformation of a $5 billion academic health system by overseeing IT operations, digital platforms, data analytics, cybersecurity, and technology infrastructure to support clinical care, research, education, and administration.

Lead digital transformation and IT strategy for UCI Health, including multiple hospitals and clinics.
Oversee enterprise IT, digital platforms, data analytics, cybersecurity, and research informatics.
Collaborate closely with clinical, academic, and administrative leaders to enable advanced analytics and digital health initiatives.
Manage IT infrastructure and enterprise systems to improve health outcomes and operational performance.
Requires a minimum 15 years in IT, with at least 10 years in senior IT leadership within healthcare or academic medical centers.
Must hold an undergraduate degree and a master’s degree in business, hospital administration, computer science, or related field.
Experience with large-scale EHR implementations and knowledge of clinical, academic, and administrative IT systems.
Preferred qualifications include executive education in digital strategy, healthcare IT certifications, and familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA and NIST.
Salary range from $352,600 to $793,600 per year.
Serves the academic health system supporting clinical care, research, education, and population health in Orange County and surrounding areas.
