About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Systems Administrator to join our IT team at Muskegon Community College. As a Systems Administrator, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the administration of various systems essential to Muskegon Community College's operations. Your responsibilities will encompass system design, configuration, maintenance, and support. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of our IT infrastructure. 

 

The System Administrator position is highly technical in nature. The position involves network and server design, administration, configuration, installation, upgrades, security, and troubleshooting. Duties are performed on a variety of network hardware with an emphasis on Cisco network switches, firewalls and wireless, Windows servers and Microsoft HyperV virtualization. This position is in support of Muskegon Community College and reports to the Director, Technical Services.
