Highlights

Maintain and manage server hardware and infrastructure for ICBR's research and administrative functions.
Support a range of software systems including web, application, and database servers.

Develop, test, and deploy software applications using Linux, Python, Django, React, Postgres, and other technologies.
Utilize tools such as Atlassian Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, MySQL, SQLite, Samba, Active Directory, Powershell, RHEL, Ansible, and NFS.
Provide customer service and technical support within ICBR and to external customers, including Tier 2 support and after-hours rotation.
Participate in risk assessments and maintain technical and security documentation.
Conduct training and outreach on information security and cross-train colleagues.
Required qualifications include an Associate’s degree with two years relevant experience or high school diploma with four years relevant experience; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and experience with high-performance computing preferred.
Salary range from $61,000 to $63,000, with comprehensive University of Florida benefits including health, dental, vision, leave programs, and retirement plans.
