Required Bachelor’s Degree Information Systems, Business Analytics, or relative experience Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience administering Slate CRM in higher education and integration with student information systems. Demonstrated expertise in advanced Slate configuration including data structures, rules, automations, portals, and communication workflows Working knowledge of Banner Student Information System and enterprise system integration concepts Strong technical problem-solving and analytical abilities Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences Proven project management skills with experience leading complex system initiatives Understanding of middleware solutions and API-based data exchange between enterprise systems Applicant must be a current TXST staff member
Preferred Qualifications | Master’s Degree Advanced SQL programming and database management expertise Familiarity with College Board and ENCOURA data structures Experience with middleware solutions and API integrations Knowledge of enterprise system testing methodologies Higher education experience spanning multiple functional areas (recruitment, admissions, student success)
Job Description | The Systems Administrator II is responsible for administering and maintaining servers and services under the team’s management.
Job Duties | Architect the configuration and optimization of Slate CRM and its integrations with Banner SIS and middleware to support recruitment, admissions, and student success operations Develop, implement, test, and manage configurations across CRM, SIS, project management, and related platforms Design and maintain queries, reports, and dashboards to support enrollment management and operational decisions Analyze complex business processes and system configurations to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions Other duties as assigned Develop and deliver raining materials, user guides and technical documentation for platform functionality
