Job Description  | This role involves providing technical support to a specific department’s faculty and staff, which includes installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining hardware, software, and audiovisual equipment.

Job Duties  | Install, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware, peripherals, and software. Diagnose, analyze, and resolve computer and media equipment issues. Manage and maintain classroom technologies databases. Coordinate and supervise installation, testing, and monitoring of instructional equipment and software. Create and update procedural documentation. Assign and supervise tasks to student workers. Contribute to network design to prevent intrusion, infection, or inappropriate use. Facilitate best practices for efficient utilization of servers, workstations, and software. Management of Departmental Websites Management of Departmental Share Dives, Teams Sites, and other Cloud Services Perform preventative maintenance against computer viruses. Maintain inventory of hardware, software, and licensing information. Train users on equipment and software usage. Coordinate services and resources to best support faculty/client needs. Prepare reports and training materials as required. Technological support for department and public programming Maintain accurate records. Perform other duties as assigned.
