Talent & Operations Partner Full Description

LearnUpon is looking for a Talent & Operations Partner to join our growing team in Salt Lake City. This is a part time role, working 3 days per week from our Salt Lake City office.

What will I be doing?
As our Talent & Operations Partner, reporting to the Sr. Manager, Talent & People Operations with a dotted line to our Workplace Manager, you’ll drive recruitment and workplace operations across North America. You’ll keep US hiring activity moving smoothly while creating a welcoming, organised, and connected workplace experience across our US offices.

Talent Acquisition
  • Managing the full recruitment process for all roles in North America including sourcing, screening, and scheduling
  • Collaborating with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs
  • Educating hiring managers and interview panels on our hiring process and recruitment best practices
  • Providing timely feedback to all candidates, ensuring a strong candidate experience
  • Tracking, analyzing and regularly reporting on hiring progress
  • Implement scalable improvements to our recruiting strategy and processes
  • Working closely with our People Operations team to deliver a standout candidate experience, all the way through to onboarding
  • Supporting our employer branding efforts, including representing LearnUpon at events such as job fairs or conferences
  • Assisting on other roles across the company as required

Workplace Operations:
  • Working with building management in Salt Lake City and Philadelphia to create keycards for new hires, collect keycards as employees offboard, and escalate any facility issues
  • Managing the relationships with local vendors
  • Ordering catering and office supplies as needed
  • Keeping the office tidy and organised
  • Owning the US social calendar in partnership with the Social Club, including all seasonal and EOQ celebrations.
  • Managing the Workplace budgets for Salt Lake City and Philadelphia

What skills do I need?                                                                      
  • At least 2 years’ experience hiring for a range of roles at all levels
  • Experience with various interview formats (in-person, phone, Zoom)
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (we use Greenhouse)
  • Experience with proactive sourcing, LinkedIn Recruiter, and in-person events.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English
Not required but considered a big plus
  • Recruitment experience in a tech / SaaS scale-up environment
  • Experience working in the LMS/ Learning Tech industry
  • Experience managing budgets

  • Qualified applicants will be invited to a call with the Hiring Manager.
  • Successful candidates will then be invited to a practical interview with members of our People & Workplace teams.
  • Finally, candidates will have an interview with a member of our C-Suite team.
