Job Description Summary

The Technical Learning Training Developer will be responsible and accountable for developing and implementing training and other educational information for continuous learning programs within the Engineering Organization. They will be directly responsible for developing training content, implementing and obtaining feedback on training, and continual improvement to drive training effectiveness.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Develop effective training content for integration within our Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Provide project leadership by establishing and following effective project practices, meeting schedule expectations and communicating status effectively.
  • Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate technical content into clear, leaner-focused training.
  • Develop eLearning and blended training solutions using instructional design best practices.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness, utilizing data and feedback to drive continual improvement.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Technical Learning Senior Program Leader.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in a related field with at least 5 years of related experience.
OR

  • High school diploma / GED with at least 8 years of related experience.

Eligibility Requirements:
  • The preferred work location for this role is at the GEH Headquarters in Wilmington, NC; but highly qualified (US based) remote candidates will be considered.
  • This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to U.S. export-controlled technology

  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.

 For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $88,600.00 and $147,600.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

 Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
