Team Overview
The Services Sales team works closely with PowerSchool customers for ongoing success through selling in to the marketplace post-implementation support, troubleshooting, consultation on system setup options, and training on features and functionality. The team sells in to cross-portfolio customers with Day 2 services to continue the customer journey. Responsibilities:
The Solution Sales team oversees the selling of various product lines to K-12 school districts. Team members have a deep knowledge of our products and sales best practices, with a focus on growing revenue. We are looking for a dynamic and tech-savvy Technical Sales Representative to join our services sales team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology and business, and who can effectively communicate the value of complex software solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Your day-to-day job will consist of:
- Identify and engage prospective clients to understand their solutions needs and challenges.
- Present and demonstrate solutions to clients, highlighting features and benefits tailored to their business.
- Collaborate with the product tailoring teams to ensure solutions align with customer requirements.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, quotes, and technical documentation.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product offerings, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Provide feedback to product teams based on customer insights and market trends.
- Client Relationship Management: understand the client needs beyond the initial sale, work strategically with the client and product tailoring to promote customer loyalty and a long-term partnership
- Accurately track sales activities and pipeline in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in B2B software sales or technical account management.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
- Additional experience may be substitute for an advanced Degree.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of SaaS, cloud computing, APIs, and enterprise software solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms and sales enablement tools.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $61,800 - $113,600 USD. This compensation range is specific to the United States and it incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; specific geographic location; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
